Take that first step into the world of fly fishing. Our introduction to trout fishing experience is aimed to offer that perfect entry into the world of fly fishing. No matter your experience our team of guides will begin with a casting lesson to teach the mechanics of fly casting, and teach about the flies and what the trout are eating. Followed with guided fishing targeting Rainbow, Brown and Blue trout on our fabulous local stillwater fisheries, it is the perfect introduction to the sport.
From dry fly sport targeting rising fish to learning new skills in different techniques used to target trout on the fly. This experience is designed to not only ensure an enjoyable fly fishing experience but also teaches new skills in the various tactics used to target trout.
3 1/2 hour experience available to take in the mornings, and afternoons. It is also a great option for large groups looking for a fun outdoor event.

Learn to Fly Fish
Our introduction to trout fishing is our intro package, perfect for anyone who has never fly-fished before and would like to give it a try.
Here we will take you to a stocked Scottish loch in a safe environment and teach you the art of Flyfishing. Here we can teach you how to cast, and the various techniques we can use to catch trout. We will begin the introduction with some basic fly-casting techniques getting you efficient at making the casts. We will then teach tackle and tactics touching on various different methods used to catch trout in Scotland.
Whilst fishing we will try to teach you as much as we can so that you can take up the sport yourself.
Our Stillwater package offers a high chance of catching multiple trout in a safe teaching environment.
Group events
We are able to provide trout fishing experiences for large groups, from corporate events to stag parties and birthdays. Providing an enjoyable day outdoors, learning a new skill in fly fishing and most importantly catching some trout.
