I highly recommend Twin peaks. I wanted to start fly fishing and didn't know where to start. So after some reading signed up to the four lesson casting course. Al was extremely patient and took me from having never fly casted to being able to go out and catch wild trout on my own. We had a few casting lessons at the shop grounds and did some fishing on the stretch of the Dee at the back of shop. For the final lesson we went to the river Devron and I managed to land my first two wild brown trout on dry fly. After the course I got a loop fly rod, reel, line, flies and accessories from their shop to get me set up for fishing on my own. I stupidly broke the tip of my fly line while not paying attention fishing in hill lochs a while after and it was replaced free of charge, no questions asked. The perfect one stop shop for all things fly fishing for the complete beginner to seasoned anglers.

We had a fantastic time with Will and Blaine as they patiently taught us the basics of Spey casting. That was followed by a day’s guided fishing on the Dee. Although our first salmon escaped us, we had a brilliant time under Blaine’s guidance. We saw lots of leaping salmon, even had a couple of bites, enjoyed the most superb picnic lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Dee. All in all it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it.
